The answer to your question is that, of course &#039;we&#039; don&#039;t have any chance at all.
But it does not matter, if you really understand what &#039;we&#039; means. (I suspect you actually meant &#039;I&#039;).
The universe, the Earth, and all life on it is just a step in a never ending transformational process of which the &#039;we&#039; you mean is the merest spec.
If you let go of you human centric perspective (It will be the hardst thing you ever did) and see the bigger picture you will no longer be &#039;saddened&#039;.
